Followed recent recommendations on here and fitted Dunlop Blue Response just before the Euro Tour. Wasn't keen at first but that was because they had 28psi in them despite me asking for 24! Once the pressures were sorted they were great... and they had a thorough test through the Ardennes, the Black Forest and the Vosges Mtns wink

Blue Response do seem to be very popular smile

Mine have taken a near 2000 mile thrashing around Europe pretty well!

If you want another option, I have Toyo Proxies on mine, still plenty of tread after 3 years regular use.

Had the Toyos on mine before the Dunlops (3 years? you're not driving it enough/hard enough wink )

It was the good wet handling/braking score that sold me on the Blue Response as a replacement.

My "other car" on the Eurotour was on Toyo's, Terry seemed to be able to pedal that along pretty rapidly smile

Toyo's for me. Nice side wall strength but not too harsh a ride.

Personal preference but not keen on the Dunlops. Bit firm. Or maybe it's scarring from a PE lesson as a boy !

Toyo Proxes on mine too. Bit skittish as first, but now well scrubbed, very sticky and inspire confidence. went for 205/55 which seem to suit wheel arch space on mine too. Like the tread pattern too.

BluResponse on rears, earlier FastResponse on fronts, pressures increased to 26psi for the trip ( heavily laden with spares & beer! ) to allow high speed cruising.

Felt good even on melting tarmac.
Must reduce the tyre pressures tomorrow for normal Peak District use. driving

Was only taking it to 50% Mike, thought I'd better show some respect! wink
